Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 2 to 4 to Survey land of Plot as per S.No.215/10B as per the Patta vide No.284 1/6

issued in the name of the Petitioner at Kheezhur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District and to put up boundary stones as per Petitioners application vide Application No.2025/N123/35/007337 dated 22.04.2025 on the file of the 2nd and 3rd Respondents within a stipulated time as prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct respondents 2 to 4 to Survey petitioner's land in respect of Patta No.284, comprised in S.No.215/10B, measuring an extent of 0.01.62 ares, situated at Kheezhur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District and to put up boundary stones within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is the title holder in respect of property comprised in S.No.215/10B in Patta No.484, measuring an extent of 0.01.62 acres, situated at Kheezhur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District. 4.It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner submitted application to the respondents 2 and 3 seeking survey and to lay boundary stones. However, the said application has not considered by the respondents 2 and 3 till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

5.Learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that they would conduct survey and put up boundaries stones of the subject property within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 6.In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conduct survey and put up boundaries stones of the subject property, after putting the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested party including rival claimants, if any, on 3/6

notice, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
