Heard Mr.M.Venkatesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioners have given representation before the third respondent for issuance of patta. The third respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioners' representation on merits and in accordance with law after putting the interested persons on notice. I have not gone into the merits of the matter. An appropriate order shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
