This Criminal Original Petition is filed to issue direction to the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.3052 of 2020 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Chengalpattu within a time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number, no final report is filed till date. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report, within a period of three months.

5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
