Prayer:- Writ Petition filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to accord approval to the appointment of the petitioner Sr.P.Roseline Janci as B.T. Asst [Social Science] in the fifth respondent Dominic's Girls Higher Secondary School, Nirmala Nagar, Pereambalur Dt - 621 212 w.e.f. 03.07.2017 with all service and monetary benefits. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to accord approval to the appointment of the petitioner in the fifth respondent w.e.f. 03.07.2017 with all service and monetary benefits.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as B.T. Assistant [Social Science] in the fifth respondent school with effect from 03.07.2017 in the vacancy arising out of the retirement of one Sr.Helen Paulinal on 08.06.2017. The fifth respondent forwarded the 2/6
proposal of appointment of the petitioner in the above school to the educational authorities for approval vide proceedings dated 31.12.2020. However, the same has not been approved. Hence, the Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to accord approval to the appointment of the petitioner with effect from 03.07.2017.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the proceedings of the fifth respondent is pending before the first respondent for passing of Orders.
4. Heard Dr.Xavier Arulraj, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Baladhandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
5. In view of the submissions on either side, the first respondent is directed to pass Orders on the proceedings of the fifth respondent on its own merits within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
