Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the Debts Recovery Tribunal at Coimbatore for expeditious time bound disposal of SA.No.366 of 2017 pending on the file of the Debts Revocery Tribunal at Coimbatore.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.T.Balaji, learned counsel for the petitioners.

2. The petitioners claim to be the auction purchasers. The petition is filed seeking a direction for expeditious disposal of S.A.No.366 of 2017.

3. We asked the learned counsel for the petitioners whether any interim order is operating against the petitioners or the Bank in the said Securitisation Application. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no such interim order is operating against the petitioners for the use and enjoyment of the property purchased by the petitioners or for taking any legal steps with regard to the property in question.

4. In the light of the fact that no interim order is operating against the petitioners or the Bank and that the petitioners are free to enjoy the property purchased by the petitioners in auction, the petitioners need not have much urgency.

5. It is also a fact that S.A.No.366 of 2017 is pending even after six years. The Debts Recovery Tribunal, Coimbatore may endeavour to decide the same expeditiously.

6. With these observations, the civil revision petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, C.M.P.No.15140 of 2023 is closed.
