The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 420 of IPC in Crime No.Not known of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. Petition for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioners apprehending arrest on the complaint given by one Rabiath Munnera d/o Ziahuddin.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent states that the based on the petition given by Rabiath Munnera, complaint petition being taken up and summon was issued to the petitioners on 15.06.2023 to appear before the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Tiruvarur on 17.06.2023. The petitioners appeared before the investigating officer and had promised to come as and when called for enquiry. 4. In light of the above facts, the Criminal Original petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to appear before the respondent on summons. On such appearance, the respondent police shall conduct the enquiry and proceed in accordance with law. Enquiry shall be completed with in a period of one month and till the completion of enquiry, the petitioners shall not be arrested.
