Heard Mr.G.Paramasivam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
2. The petitioner sought information under Right to Information Act from the second respondent. The information sought for was not provided. The petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent. The Appellate Authority had not processed the petitioner's appeal. Hence, the present petition came to be filed. I direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 14.05.2026, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
