The petitioner has challenged the amendments effected in Sections 4 and 5 of Rail Travelers Service Agents Rules, 1985. 2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Southern Railway made a submission that the very policy of providing services through Rail Travelers Service Agents have been discontinued and therefore, the question of considering the grounds raised in the present writ petition does not arise at all. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
