The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 420 of IPC in Crime No.Not known of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein apprehends arrest on the complaint given by one Jagir Hussain.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent states that based on the complaint of Jagir Hussain dated 09.06.2023, the police has taken the petition in CSR No.224 of 2023 and being a money dispute, the police need to enquire the accused before arriving at any conclusion regarding criminality alleged in the complaint. If the petitioner participates in the enquiry and cooperates, there may not be any need to arrest him.

Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer on receipt of the summons and cooperate with the enquiry.
