The relief sought for in the present writ petition to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to measure the river Poromboke land in Survey Nos.110 and 117 situated at Pasigam Village through a surveyor based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.03.2023 and to form a road in the Poramboke land adjacent to riverbed, enabling them to reach the agricultural lands and houses of the petitioner.

2. The relief sought for in the present writ petition seems to be based on public interest. The petitioner as an individual cannot seek the relief to measure the river poromboke land, which belongs to the Government.

3. If at all any public interest involved, it is for the petitioner to initiate all appropriate actions in the manner known to law. However, the present writ petition seeking relief to measure the river poromboke land is not entertainable.
