The learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo dated 07.04.2025 stating that the writ petitioner vide his letter dated 07.04.2025 expressed his unwillingness to proceed further with W.P. No.18358 of 2018 as he is about to retire next month and has accordingly instructed to withdraw this writ petition. The said memo is taken on file.

In view of the memo filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner for assigning the reason to withdraw the writ petition, the petitioner is allowed to withdraw this writ petition.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The memo filed shall form part of the order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
