Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to comply with the law laid down in Vishaka vs. State of Rajasthan (AIR 1997 SC 3011) and Medha Kotwal Lele vs. Union of India & Others, (2013) 1 SCC 297, by issuing necessary instructions / circulars and framing rules / regulations to ensure a safe working environment for women in the precincts of the High Court as well as all the Subordinate Courts in Tamilnadu forthwith.

2.The petitioner seeks implementation of the law laid down in Vishaka vs. State of Rajasthan (AIR 1997 SC 3011) and Medha Kotwal Lele vs. Union of India & Others, (2013) 1 SCC 297, qua women working in the precincts of the High Court as well as Subordinate Courts in Tamil Nadu.
2.It is pointed out by the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent that the petition has become infructuous as a notification stood published on 27.11.2013 and on certain defects being pointed out, amendments were made and the amended notification stands published on 13.09.2014.
