This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to discharge his duties as Assistant Professor (Chemistry) in the fourth respondent/College in the light of the appointment order issued by the third respondent/Secretary in his proceedings Rc.No.A1/2731/13II, dated 02.06.2014.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the order of appointment issued to the writ petitioner stood cancelled.

3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent/College submitted that the appointment order has also been served on the writ petitioner for the aforesaid post. He further submitted that the said copy of the appointment order has also been served to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent/Secretary, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. However, it is for the writ petitioner to challenge the aforesaid appointment order, if so aggrieved.
