ORDER

This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking transfer of proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.115 of 2023 from the file of the Family Court at Salem to the file of the Sub Court at Tambaram. Page No 1 of 4

2. The petitioner and the respondent were married on 26.06.2015 at Sholingar. From the wedlock, two children were born and they are aged about five years today. The petitioner/wife and the children are residing at Tambaram.

3. The respondent/husband has moved an application, before the Family Court at Salem in H.M.O.P.No.115 of 2023, seeking divorce. The distance, between Chennai and Salem, is about 300 Kms. The wife finds it difficult to travel from Chennai to Salem for the purpose of contesting the litigation.

4. Taking into consideration the convenience of the wife, I am inclined to allow this transfer petition. Hence, the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.115 of 2023 which is now pending on the file of the Family Court at Salem is withdrawn and it shall stand transferred to the file of the Sub Court at Tambaram.

5. Accordingly, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
