This writ petition has been filed, challenging the Show Cause Notice issued under Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, removing the petitioner from the post of the President, Yercaud Panchayat. The impugned order / show cause https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

notice was issued on 03.02.2004, now, the tenure of the petitioner in the Post of President has expired long ago, and nothing now remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs in the writ petition.
