PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., to issue direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to give police protection to the petitioner's land measuring an extent of 4230 Sq.ft. comprised in Survey No.386/11B, 385/2B of S.Kulathur Village, Madipakkam Part II, Sholinganallur Taluk,

Chennai District pursuant to the petitioner's brother complaint dated 08.05.2019 and petitioners complaint dated 13.06.2019, 21.06.2019, in accordance with law.

This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

It is seen from records that there is already a civil suit pending between the parties and certain interim orders have also been passed. It will be more appropriate for the petitioner to move the Civil Court seeking for the same direction and the Civil Court will be more competent to handle it in exercise of its jurisdiction under Section 151 of Cr.PC.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the competent Civil Court.
