..Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to admit the petitioner's revision petition dated 15.05.2026 filed against the order dated 09.10.2025 made in Na.Ka.No.10021/2024/Aa3 passed by the 2nd respondent and further direct the respondents to maintain status quo in the subject matter lands measuring 693 sq.mt comprised in T.S.No.600, Ward 4, Block 10, Thiruvarur Town and District till the disposal of the above revision petition.

2. The petitioner suffered eviction order under Section 6 of the Land Encroachment Act. Appeal filed against the said order under Section 10 of the Act was also dismissed. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed a revision petition before the first respondent on 15.05.2026. Even though the revision petition appears to have been filed beyond the limitation period, we direct the first respondent to condone the same and dispose of the revision petition on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the revision petition is disposed of by the first respondent, the eviction order shall not be given effect to. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
