O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.103 of 2023 pending investigation before the third respondent to some other investigating agency.

2. Heard Ms.V.Mythili, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents.

3. During the last hearing, a status report was filed before this Court and this Court directed the learned counsel for petitioner to go through the status report and to make his submissions.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that an alteration report has been filed before Judicial Magistrate I, Chidambaram and the offence has been altered to one u/s.306 IPC.

5. In the light of the above development, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report in this case within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
