ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to immediately act on the petitioner representations dated 10.7.2013, 21.1.2014 & 7.3.2014 and pay the petitioner reasonable and proper compensation and also allot alternative site for the petitioner 3608 sq.ft. in Punja Survey No.156/1 as per Patta No.3366 in Punja Survey Nos.156/ 1A1B & 156/ 1A1C, Attanthangal Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District acquired for Outer Ring Road Project connecting Vandalur in the South to Minjur in the North.

2. The case of the petitioner is that one the petitioner is the owner the land to an extend of 3608 sq.ft. In S.No.156/1 & 156/1A of Attanthangai Viilage, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District. Such land was acquired by the Government for the purpose of laying road for outer ring road project connecting Vandalur to Minjur. The petitioner made several representations to the respondents 1 to 3 to fix a fair compensation for the acquisition and to allot the alternative site. Till date, the same was not consider by the respondents and hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 07.03.2014 and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2014 will be considered and necessary orders will be passed in accordance with law within the stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited request made by the petitioner, this Court directs

the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
