Respondent Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's Application dated 30.04.2014 for the grant of Counter Signature of Spare Bus Permit in respect of the vehicle bearing registration No.AP-03-TB-8949 forthwith. Heard Mr.R.Srinivasalu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepting notice on behalf of respondent. With the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's Application dated 30.04.2014 for the grant of Counter Signature of Spare Bus Permit in respect of the vehicle bearing registration No.AP-03TB-8949 forthwith. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The petitioner is stated to be a fleet interstate stage carriage operator and to maintain continuity of service, they were granted a Spare Bus Permit by the State Transport Authority, Hyderabad, by an order dated 19.03.2014. In order to obtain a Counter-signature in the Sate of Tamil Nadu, the petitioner has approached the respondent and submitted an Application on 30.04.2014, in a proper forum. The petitioner has also remitted necessary fees vide challan dated 30.04.2014. Since the said Application dated 30.04.2014 was not considered by the respondent, the petitioner sent two reminders dated 05.03.2015 and 06.04.2015. However, till date, the respondent has not passed any orders, which necessitated the petitioner to approach this Court.

4. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the case, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's Application dated 30.04.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
