The petitioner stands convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for one year for the offences under Section 465 r/w.120(b) and 468 r/w.471 of IPC and convicted to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- x 2 in default to undergo simple imprisonment for one month and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for two years for the offences under Section 420 r/w.34 of IPC and convicted to pay a fine of Rs.3,000/- in default to undergo simple imprisonment for two month passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Poonamallee, in C.C.No.233 of 2006, dated 28.03.2015, which was confirmed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvallur in C.A.No.34 of 2015, dated 08.08.2016, has come forward with this petition seeking for the relief of suspension of sentence, pending revision.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.Considering the grounds raised in the memorandum of grounds of criminal revision and also considering the fact that the petitioner has made out a case for suspense of sentence, this Court is of the considered view that the substantive sentence of imprisonment alone could be suspended pending revision.

tsh 4.Accordingly, the substantive sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended till 20.09.2016 on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Poonamallee.
