The present application is filed seeking to appoint a Receiver to receive monthly rents and also collect the arrears of rents from May 2014 to till date from the respondents 3 to 7, who are the tenants in the demised portion of the suit schedule property and deposit the same in Court.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the Applicant submits that respondents 3 to 7 have not deposited the rents, so far, therefore, the plaintiff, left with no other option, has filed the suit for performance.
3. Despite notice having been sent, none appears for the respondents though their names printed.
4. Considering the submissions made, this Application is allowed by appointing the Applicant, as Receiver, to receive the rents from the respondents 3 to 7 in the demised portion of the suit schedule property and deposit them on the file of the Suit filed before this Court. Such a deposit should be made by opening a separate account in the Indian Bank, High Court Branch, Chennai, in the name
of the applicant, with an undertaking that the Applicant shall not take any amount from the same, except by any further orders of this Court.
