The present petition has been filed to modify one of the the conditions that to report before Sangagiri Police Station instead of petitioner report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of 30 days in Crl.OP.No.9422 of 2025 dated 28.03.2025.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a native of Sangakiri and he has no relative at Chengalpet. Since the petitioner's ill health, he is not able to travel from Sangakiri to Chengalpet. He further submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to cooperate with investigation after his health condition is improved, whenever the respondent police, called for investigation, ready to appear before them. Further, the learned counsel submits that the petitioner was enable to furnish the sureties due to his ill health and his poor financial conditions. Hence, he seeks modification.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that investigation was almost completed and very soon the charge sheet has to be filed before the concerned court below.

In view of the above, the condition imposed on the petitioner that he should report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of 15 days and thereafter as and when required for interrogation in Crl.OP.No.9422 of 2025 dated 28.03.2025, is modified to the effect that " the petitioner shall report before the respondent police on second Tuesday of every month at 10.30 a.m., till filing of the charge sheet and thereafter appear before the concerned court below on all hearing dates without fail". Except the above modification, all other conditions shall remain intact.

6. With the above modification, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
