COMMON ORDER The Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that originally, the bank accounts of the petitioner was freezed immediately after the registration of the FIR and it https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
was also defreezed on 19.07.2019. However, the respondent police received further materials to the effect that the petitioner has impersonated himself and given an impression that he is the Principal Secretary to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and thereby, he has cheated Anna University. Therefore, based on the further materials, the respondent police have freezed the bank accounts of the petitioner on 19.07.2019 and it was also intimated immediately on the same day before the Special Court for CCB and CBCID cases. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, therefore, submitted that in view of this development, no further orders can be passed in this Court and the respondent police have strictly complied with the mandatory requirements under Section 102 of Cr.P.C.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. In view of the above development, no further orders can be passed by this Court since the freezing of the accounts have been informed before the concerned Court immediately on the same day i.e on 19.07.2019. It is left open to the petitioner to go before the concerned Court and work out his remedy in accordance with law.
4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
