Crl.OP.No.14968 of 2023 G.CHANDRASEKHARAN, J.

This petition is filed to enlarge the petitioners on bail in S.C.No.06 of 2023 on the file of the trial Court at Principal District Court at Nagapattinam in Crime No.288 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police with stringent condition.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that petitioners are falsely implicated in the case of murder of deceased Manogar. Petitioner is in judicial custody from 23.08.2022. Thus, he prays for bail. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that first petitioner is hired assassin. The second petitioner was helping the first petitioner by taking him to the scene of occurrence and then from getting away from the spot.

4.It is seen from the First Information Report allegations that the deceased was murdered on 17.08.2022 at 09.30 p.m. in connection with business rivalry with A1 in taking lease of vegetable market. The petitioners 1/4

along with other accused had been hired by the third and fourth accused at the instance of second accused. It is also said that first petitioner used Aruval for causing injury to the deceased, but, that inadvertently fell on coaccused. 5.Considering the active role played by the petitioners in the murder for the sake of money and that they are hired assassins, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 13.07.2023 ep 2/4
