Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking a direction to the respondent to give police protection to the petitioner and the officials is going to inspect the property situated in Kuteripattu Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District, of an extent of Acre 1.45 cents, comprised in S.No.87/1, 2, 3, 4B, 5, 8, 9A, 10, 11A, 12, 13, 14A, 15, 16, 17A, 18A for the purpose of measuring the said property to issue patta.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to give police protection to the petitioner, when the official is going to inspect the property situated in Kuteripattu Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District, of an extent of Acre 1.45 cents, comprised in S.Nos.87/1, 2, 3, 4B, 5, 8, 9A, 10, 11A, 12, 13, 14A, 15, 16, 17A, 18A for the purpose of measuring the said property to issue patta.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the property measuring 1.45 cents comprised in S.Nos. 87/1, 2, 3, 4B, 5, 8, 9A, 10, 11A, 12, 13, 14A, 15, 16, 17A, 18A , situated in Kuteripattu Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District and that one Selvakumar is not permitting the petitioner to have the property measured.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of the prayer, this Court directs the Inspector of Police, Mailam Police Station, to afford police protection to the Revenue Authorities as and when they come to the said land for the purpose of surveying and measuring.

With the above direction, this petition is ordered, accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
