The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 354 C, 506(2) of IPC, in Crime No.131 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the defacto complainant was changing her dress after bathing under the well around 9.00 P.m., on 01.05.2024, the 1st accused had seen her changing dress from his house terrace. It is further alleged that when the defacto complainant and her son caught him and questioned him about the mischievous behaviour, the 2nd accused who is the brother of the 1st accused defamed the character of the defacto complainant and abused her in filthy language and also beaten her's son in a wooden log and caused injuries. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioners are ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioners have involved in serious offence and the investigation is at initial stage. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioners have involved in serious offence and also considering the gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
