Respondents Prayer : Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus and direct the first respondent to produce petitioner's minor daughter S.Shalini aged about 17 years who were detained illegally by the second respondent before this Court and hand over the custody of the detenue to the petitioner, who is the father and natural guardian.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to produce the petitioner's minor daughter, S.Shalini, who is aged about 17 years and who was detained illegally by the second respondent, before this Court and hand over the custody of the detenue to the petitioner, who is the father and natural guardian.

2. Complaining that the petitioner's daughter had gone missing, his complaint, in this regard, came to be registered in Crime No.139 of 2024 under the caption 'Girl Missing'. In this background, the present Habeas Corpus petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter is called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor secured the girl and produced her before us. When we interacted with the minor girl, she said that she is willing to reconcile with her father and live under his care and protection. The petitioner herein also agreed to take custody of the minor girl.

4. In view of the statements made by both the petitioner and his daughter, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and hence, no further orders are required.
