Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the hand pump from and out of the common passage namely Rajiv Gandhi Nagar 2nd Street, which is giving access from the houses of the residents including the petitioner to the main CB Road, Korukupet, Chennai -21, and put up the same within the compound wall of the 4th respondent to whom it was granted by the respondent Metro Water Board.
