ORDER

The writ petition is of the year 2021.

2. In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following relief: "To forbear the respondents from shifting the TASMAC Liquor Shop from SF.No.123/2A1A of Pillanallur Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District."

3. The case of the petitioner is that the respondents have established a TASMAC liquor shop at the petitioner's property on 31.03.2017 and they are taking steps to shift the shop to another place due to political influence. Hence, the petitioner made a detailed representation on 27.08.2021, requesting the respondents not to shift the shop.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner however confirms that the shop has not been shifted during the pendency of the writ petition.

5. It is noticed that although no interim order was passed, the shop has not been disturbed till date. The writ petition has perhaps become infructuous on account of efflux of time since the date of filing of writ petition is 13.09.2021.

6. All the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2021 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
