The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2014 within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2.The case of the petitioner is that initially the petitioner worked as public servant in Neyveli Lignite Corporation from the year 1980 to 1986 and joined the respondent Office on 04.08.1986 as Assistant Administrative Officer. The petitioner was promoted as Administrative Officer during the year 1990 and further promoted as Assistant Manager during the year 1999 and further promoted as Divisional Manager and was superannuated on 30.06.2014.

superannuated on 30.06.2014, his pensionary benefits was not disbursed to him. Hence, this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that during the pendancy of this writ petition, major portion of the retirement benefits were settled in favour of the petitioner and for the balance amount, the petitioner has made representation dated 02.05.2018 to the respondents and hence, this Court may issue direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2018 within a time frame.
4.The learned counsels appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2018 will be considered in accordance with law.
5.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2018, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders on the same, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
