O R D E R

The petitioners have come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, directing the respondents to issue house site with patta in S.No.27, situated at Kadathur Panchayat, Veerapandi firka, Salem District to them.

2.However, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submitted that it would suffice, if the petitioners are permitted to approach the authority concerned with a fresh representation with regard to the claim made in this writ petition, for which, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objection.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court disposes of this writ petition, granting liberty to the petitioners to approach the authority concerned, as and when required. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
