This petition is filed under Section 378 (3) Cr.P.C, to grant special leave to prefer an appeal against the judgment dated 30.05.2023 made in Crl.A.No.27 of 2023 on the file of the I Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai.

2. Heard Mr.A.Natarajan, learned Senior counsel assisted by Ms.A.Madhumathi, counsel for the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that though the trial Court convicted the accused for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, the appellate Court revered the findings of the trial Court on irrelevant factors. 4.In the said circumstances, there are arguable points in the main appeal and therefore, special leave is granted as prayed for. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
