ORDER
This petition has been filed to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2018.
2. Today, Jayalakshmi, the petitioner, her parents and uncles, Mr.S.Manikandan, Sub-Inspector of Police, K-9, Thiru.Vik.Ka.Nagar Police Station are present before the Court. Devanand, who is stated to be the petitioner's friend is also present.
3. Devanand has filed an affidavit dated 12.07.2018 before this Court, which reads as under:
"3. I state that, I am working as a bus conductor. I am one of the friend and wellwisher to the petitioner. And I will not interfere with the petitioner's life."
4. Jayalakshmi has also filed an affidavit dated 11.07.2018, which reads as under:

"3. I state that on 29.06.2018, the above writ petition came up for admission before this Hon'ble Court, at the time of hearing, my father Mr.Sridhar and my mother S.Gowri represented through their counsels, and informed that a girl missing complaint was lodged before K9 Thiru.Vi.Ka.Nagar Police Station and the same was registered in Cr.No.740 of 2018 and that the investigation is pending. Later the matter was heard at His Lordships Chamber. I state that in the chamber I was willingly agreed to go with my parents. I have also stated that one Mr.Devanand who is a married man who helped me when I was out of my parents.
4. I state that I reliably understand that Mr.Dev Anand's wife Mrs.Malarvizhi also lodged some domestic complaint against the said Dev Anand. I state that I have no connection whatsoever with the said Dev Anand. I sincerely state that I will not even continue my relationship with Dev Anand as friend. I also assure I will not interfere in his personal life or in is family life."
5. In view of the above, this petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to close the case in Cr.No.740 of 2018 for 'girl missing'. No costs.
