No.A2/61/97 dated 16.11.1998 and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned and further direct the respondents to grant all consequential service and monetary benefits including the promotion at par with the petitioner's juniors within a reasonable time.

ORDER

When the writ petition came up for hearing today, Mr.R.S.Anandan, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of the present writ petition the enquiry proceedings were concluded and final order has also been passed thereof. Challenging the final order, a separate writ petition in W.P.No.24171 of 2014 has been filed and therefore, nothing survives in the present writ petition for adjudication. He has also made an endorsement to the effect that the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous in view of the subsequent development in the enquiry proceedings.

2. In the light of the above, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected MPs are closed. 19..06..2023 Index : yes / no : yes / no Speaking / Non Speaking Order kmk
