The petitioners were apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Section 194 of BNSS altered into Section 108 of BNS, in Crime No.164 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that the deceased, who was residing with the petitioners, was subjected to frequent quarrels and harassment by them. Subsequently, she was found hanging in her residence and died. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that they are innocent persons and have been falsely implicated in this case. He would submit that the petitioners are ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the anticipatory bail would submit that a suicide note and voice messages have been recovered during the course of investigation and that the forensic analysis report is still awaited.

5. Considering the gravity and nature of the offence and the fact that the investigation has not been completed, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
