When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the family of the petitioner has received the terminal benefits due to the petitioner and hence, the prayer made in the writ petition has become infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the petition.
