ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to take appropriate and suitable action to consider the representation dated 12.12.2020.
2.The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is running a Welfare Trust from the year 1991 in Srinivasapuram, Alandurai post, Coimbatore and through their trust, they are encouraging poor and deprived students by providing them with counseling, textbooks, notebooks, conducting https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
sports activities and further giving incentives to the poor children, tree plantation and environment awareness is being taught. It is also distributing Kabasurakudineer during the pandemic time and various sports activities are regularly held. Some antisocial elements, who were enemical against the activities of the petitioner, are disturbing and threatening them. Hence seeking protection to the Trust activities and members, a representation was sent.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that after the representation received from the Trust, the respondent police had visited the place and made enquiry. Thereafter, placed a patta book, in which, the patrol team daily visits the place and make entry in the patta book. After January 2021, there is no report of any disturbance or any incident. The police has to give them required protection, if further complaint is general in nature. If there is any specific complaint about the incident and the person, necessary action will be taken.
4.In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
