Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents not to dispossess the petitioner from the land in S.No.32/13 an extent of 0.42.0 hec. at Vedakattamaduvu Village, Harur Taluk, without following the due process of law.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner who admittedly is in occupation of a piece of Government Poromboke land comprised in S.No.32/13 at Vedakattamaduvu Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District.
2.Heard both sides.
3.Thiru.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader who appeared for the respondents made a statement that the second respondent/Tahsildar has rejected the petitioner's prayer for assignment of the said property Vide his proceedings dated 05.01.2021. In the context of the prayer sought in the Writ Petition, the learned Special Government Pleader stated that the concerned Authority is in no mood to evict the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
except by due process of law.
4.The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.
5.In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and the same is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
