Mr.A.N.Thambidurai Additional Government Pleader Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2018.

O R D E R

The petitioner was working as a Noon meal organizer in Panchayat Union Middle School, Kaliyammanpetti, Gudiyatham. She was given additional charge at Panchayat Union Middle School, Erthangal, Gudiyatham Panchayat Union vide proceedings dated 01.06.2018. Due to lack of transportation and ill health, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.06.2018, seeking transfer to Panchayat Union Middle School, Erthangal, Gudiyatham Panchayat Union. Considering her health conditions, the second respondent has also recommended her name for transfer and forwarded her representation to the first respondent. She has also sent another representation dated 22.06.2018 to the third respondent in this regard. However, no order has been passed on the representation and, therefore, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

In view of the limited relief sought for, this Court is of the view that it is not necessary to dwell into the merits of the issue, but it would be suffice to direct the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 06.06.2018 and 22.06.2018 and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame.

5. In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 06.06.2018 and 22.06.2018 and pass orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
