The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 4 from constructing any part time Fair Price Shop at Survey No.217, Vandipathai, Mel Kandigai Village, No.72, Adhikathur Madura, Thiruvallur Taluk and District.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made representation to the official respondents objecting construction of part time fair price shop at Survey No.217, Vandipathai, Mel Kandigai Village, No.72, Adhikathur Madura, Thiruvallur Taluk and District, since it is classified as Vandipathai and since the same has not yet been considered has filed this writ petition.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this 2/4
Court issues direction to the official respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2014 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame.
4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the official respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2014, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of. For ready reference, the petitioner is directed to send a copy of the representation dated 18.08.2014 along with a copy of this order, to the official respondents.
5.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
