The legal heirs of the de facto complainant has filed this petition to pursue the complaint on the ground that the de facto complainant was died on 29.05.2020.

2. This Court is not inclined to entertain this petition since it is superfluous. When the complaint has been registered by the police for the investigation, if any offence is made out against the State, it is for them to prosecute the offender. The death of the de facto complainant is immaterial.

Accordingly, this miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
