.. Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 01.07.2013 with regard to their request for regularisation of their services in the respondent Bank within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioners dated 01.07.2013 within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners were joined the services of the respondent Bank as temporary staff on various dates from the year 1997 to 1999 and were posted in various branches of the respondent Bank. Though they have put in service more than 16 years, they have not been issued any appointment orders. In this regard, they submitted several representations. He further contended that individual representations were also submitted by the petitioners on 01.07.2013, seeking regularisation of their services. Since no orders have been passed by the respondents, the present writ petition is filed before this Court. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent Bank would submit that the petitioners are not entitled for regularisation as claimed in their representation and fairly admitted that no orders have been passed on their representation dated 01.07.2013.

4.Considering the nature of prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2013 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing opportunity to the petitioners. The writ petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
