Respondents in all WPs Common Prayer in W.P.No.33491/2007 to 33496/17 and wp.no.9519 and 9520/2008 Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the letter of the first respondent, Ministry of Shipping in letter No.PR-12016/1/2006-PE-1 dated 28.09.2007 and quash the same in so far it fixes the cut of date as 30.09.2007 and to direct the respondents to continue the petitioners service till he attains the age of 60 years by extending the benefits granted under the above quoted letter.

C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioners have filed these writ petitions challenging the letter of the Ministry of Shipping dated 28.09.2007 and to quash the same in so far it fixes the cut of date as 30.09.2007 for increasing the age of retirement from 58 years to 60 years.

2.The writ petitions are of the years 2007 and 2008 and no interim order has been granted in these writ petitions. In the absence of any interim order, after a lapse of nearly eleven years, I do not find anything that survives for adjudication in these writ petitions. 3.The writ petitions are accordingly dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
