Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that promotion was given to the petitioner and also produced a copy of the Memo.No.88345/330/G1/G12/2015-11 dated 20.08.2016 in support thereof. In view of the above submission nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.
2. Recording the above submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and the memo dated 20.08.2016, the writ petition stand dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
