O R D E R

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to remove the name of the petitioner from the history sheet maintained by the respondent police. 2.It is seen from records that the petitioner has given a representation to various higher authorities and there is no proof to show that the petitioner made any representation to the respondent police in order to remove his name from the history sheet. In view of the same, this Court cannot grant the relief as sought for by the petitioner.

3.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent police requesting for the removal of the name of the petitioner from the history sheet. The respondent police on receipt of the representation made by the petitioner, shall consider the same in accordance with the guidelines given by this Court in Sabari @ Sabarigiri vs. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Annanagar (L and O) Range, Madurai City, Madurai and others reported in (2018) 4 MLJ (Crl.) 585 and pass necessary https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
