This writ petition has been filed challenging the demand notice dated 16.12.2015 issued by the first respondent relating to water tax due for the period from 1993 to 2015 and the consequential Attachment Notice dated 07.01.2016 issued by the second Respondent.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that the property in question had already been transferred in the name of the legal heirs of the petitioners who periodically effected payment towards water charges and the required receipts have already been enclosed in the typed set of papers and hence, no demand is subsisting as of now. 3.Recording the same, this writ petition stands closed. However, if there is any arrears, it is left open to the Authorities to issue a fresh notice to the present owners and to proceed with the matter in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
