ORDER

This petition has been filed to suspend the sentence imposed against the petitioner dated 26.02.2025 in S.C.No.207 of 2023 on the file of the XVI Additional Sessions Court, Chennai, enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the Criminal Appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3.The petitioner had committed a very serious and heinous offence against the victim and due to which he sustained injury on his skull and underwent surgery. The petitioner fails to make out a prima facie case to suspend the sentence imposed by the trial Court. Hence, this Court is not inclined to suspend the sentence imposed on him.

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. 10-06-2025 bkn
