Common Prayer: These Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner(s) from the date of his initial employment with all monetary and other consequential service benefits. For Petitioners : Mr.Prem Narayan in all WPs For Respondents : Mr.C.Munusamy, Spl.GP in all WPs COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed for a direction to the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were appointed as Casual Labourers (Full Time Sweepers) on 08.06.2000, 10.05.2000 and 12.07.2004 respectively and they are continuously working as such, till date. in 24 months, they are entitled for regularization of their services as per the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishment (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act 1981. Though the third respondent forwarded a list of causal labourers including the name of the petitioners, the same was not considered by the respondents 1 and 2, which compelled the petitioners to make separate representations dated 02.01.2014 and the same are pending. Hence, these writ petitions.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representations of the petitioners would be considered, if not already considered and appropriate orders be passed by the respondents, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for herein and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 02.01.2014, if not already considered, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.These Writ Petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
