Heard Mr.Chandrasekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.C.Shyaamala, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

2.The wife seeks transfer of HMOP.No.2204 of 2017 pending on the file of the 1st Additional Family Court, Chennai to SubCourt, Tambaram.

3. The transfer is sought for mainly on the ground of convenience, since the wife is a resident of Sholinganallur. It would be difficult for her to attend every hearing at the Family Court, Chennai. The husband is residing at Perumbakkam.

4. Considering the convenience of the parties, the HMOP.No.2204 of 2017 is withdrawn from the file of the 1st Additional Family Court, Chennai and transferred to the file of Sub Court, Alandur to be disposed of in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Considering the fact that the HMOP is of the year 2017, the Sub Court, Alandur is require to dispose of the HMOP within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of the records from the 1st Additional Family Court, Chennai. The Sub Court, Alandur shall also decide the application for visitation rights filed by the husband. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
